Key Features of Season 8
Boss Powers System
Season 8 introduces the Boss Powers system, allowing players to absorb abilities from defeated bosses to enhance their builds. There are 24 Boss Powers to collect, each with a Main Power and a Modifier Power. Players can equip one Main Power and three Modifier Powers simultaneously, enabling unique build combinations. These powers scale with the player's level and Paragon progression, offering dynamic customization options.

Apparition Incursions
A new world event, Apparition Incursions, challenges players to combat waves of ghost-like enemies spawned by Belial. These events culminate in a showdown with a projection of Belial himself. Defeating these bosses grants players additional Boss Powers, further enhancing their capabilities.
Lair Bosses Rework
The Lair Boss system has been overhauled, introducing three tiers of difficulty: Initiate, Greater, and Exalted. Belial stands as the Exalted Lair Boss, presenting the toughest challenge. Summoning Lair Bosses no longer requires materials; instead, a loot chest called a Hoard appears upon their defeat. Each player must individually spend boss materials to claim their rewards. Notably, the first Unique item dropped is guaranteed to be from the boss’s unique loot pool.
Supreme Belial Encounter
Defeating Belial in an ambush grants players a Lair Key, unlocking access to his Supreme Form. This encounter offers the opportunity to acquire Ancestral Uniques and Infernal Compasses. Additionally, players can mimic rewards from any other Lair Boss, making this battle a lucrative endeavor.

Conclusion
Season 8 of Diablo 4, Belial’s Return, revitalizes the game with its focus on boss encounters and player customization. The introduction of the Boss Powers system, challenging Apparition Incursions, and the reworked Lair Bosses provide fresh content for both new and veteran players. As players delve into these new challenges, they can look forward to a season filled with strategic depth and rewarding gameplay.
